You have Product-Market Fit. You lack Process-Market Fit.

Most B2B SaaS companies in the $1M–$5M ARR range hit the same wall.

You’ve proven there’s a market. Revenue is flowing. Customers are happy. But behind the curtain:

  • Pipeline is inconsistent
  • CRM data is unreliable
  • The tech stack keeps growing, but clarity doesn’t

I build GTM engines that fix that. This is how I got here.

👋 Hey, I’m Mariano Martene, and I build GTM engines that fix that. This is how I got here.

The Story

The normal world

I started in Buenos Aires running a one-person performance marketing agency.

Google Ads, mostly. I got good enough at it that Google recognized the agency as one of Argentina's top-performing partners. That opened doors, client work in Europe, Latin America, the US. I traveled, learned, and realized that paid media was just one lever in a much bigger machine.

I wanted to understand the whole machine.

The turning point

In 2019 I joined a French B2B SaaS startup. Not as a consultant. As one of the first employees.

I started by writing a welcome email sequence.

Then the founders kept asking for more. More channels, more systems, more clarity. Over time I became Head of Growth, and found myself building something I hadn't been hired to build: the entire GTM foundation.

SEO, PPC, email, CRM, attribution, sales hiring, content team, support team. Everything.

It wasn't what I planned. But it was the most useful thing I'd ever done.

Together with the founding team, we grew from €1M to €2.5M ARR — fully bootstrapped, no VC, no shortcuts.

What that taught me

Two things became clear.

First: the gap between €1M and €5M isn't about finding more leads. It's about building systems that convert the demand that already exists.

Second: most founders at that stage need someone who can think and build. Not a strategist who hands off a deck. Not a developer who waits for specs. Someone who can move from whiteboard to working system without losing anything in translation.

That person didn't exist in the market. So I became it.

Where I am now

I went deep into the GTM tooling space; built automation pipelines, signal-capture systems, CRM architectures. Learned what works and what breaks in production with real customers.

Today I work independently with B2B SaaS teams doing $1M–$5M ARR, mostly US-based. I build two systems: a signal-based outbound pipeline, and a CRM that works as a revenue operating system.

I also write a newsletter read by 1,500+ founders and operators. Real case studies, no recycled frameworks.

What I Bring to the Table

My work sits at the intersection of revenue, ops, and engineering.

Founders bring me in when they need someone who can think strategically, execute technically, and bridge the gap between sales, marketing, ops, and product.

Two things make that possible:

  • A finance-first mindset that spots bottlenecks fast
  • A technical foundation: APIs, automation, Python, no-code, that turns plans into working systems

If you're at that $1M–$5M inflection point and the GTM motion feels like it's held together with duct tape — that's exactly where I work best.
